I donвЂ™t think this hammer was ever used and would be a perfect replacement original part. Im pretty sure these hammers where originally parkerized a blackish color and this hammer appears to have a dark blued finish to me. Look at all of the photos carefully! The original wrapping is not included although I will apply a new layer of grease to the hammer to prevent rust and package it up to ship properly. This hammer has not been used since it was blued because all the finish is intact where the sear would ride against the hammer, the sides of the hammer that would be captured by the frame have no wear either, I would expect those areas to be in the white or shiny metal showing after use. Other then that the hammer is in great working order, all the engagement surfaces for the sear look great. I picked it up for a spare and itвЂ™s been wrapped in grease, I donвЂ™t think IвЂ™m going to need this so time to pass it on.
